The Arc of Ohio works to create a world where children and adults with mental retardation and developmental disabilities have and enjoy equal rights and opportunities.
We recognize the fundamental role of families in making choices and decisions for their minor children.
We also hold that individuals, who are adults, have the right to make their own choices concerning where and with whom they will live, and how they will spend their time, regardless of ability.
We have members throughout Ohio including people with developmental disabilities, parents and other family members, educators and professionals working in the field and interested persons from the general public.
The Arc of Ohio is an integral part of a nationwide, non-profit, voluntary movement. Click here for more information on The Arc of the United States.
